Uninterruptible DC emergency power supplies for flexible system integration
Compacte DC UPS components in open frame design n sich flexible und platzsparend in die jeweilige Kundenapplikation integrieren und so die unterbrechungsfreie DC-Stromversorgung mit 12V, 24V oder 48V sicherstellen. Compact modules with integrated energy storage, as well as modular systems of charging/control unit and matching battery packs are available. Energy storage uses maintenance-free longlife supercaps, long-lasting and safe LiFePO4 and Li-ion battery packs or classic lead acid batteries. The DC UPS solutions offer reliable protection against power failure, flicker or DC voltage drop. In a critical sitiuation, for example, motors or actuators can be returned to a defined basic safety position, current process steps can be completed or continued in operation over a certain period of time. In case of a prolonged power failure PC-based systems can be swithed off in a controlled manner and automatically started after a recurrent mains voltage. Typical fields of application are Industry 4.0, medical and laboratory applications, automation, robotics, measurement and control technology, sensors, camera and security systems, embedded box PCs, edge computing and mobile systems and much more.
