Galvanically insulated AC/DC power supply with NEC Class 2 / Limited Power Source (LPS)
The ultra-compact DIN rail power supply series SYNC from Delta was developed for cost-sensitive applications in industry that require particularly reliable and space-saving power supplies. The AC/DC power supplies for 5V/12V/24V have certifications according to IEC/EN/UL 62368-1 as well as NEC Class 2 and Limited Power Source (LPS). The classification according to NEC Class 2 and the thus limited output power of max. 100VA offers the advantage that there is neither the risk of electric shock nor the risk of fire initiation. As a result, a simplified wiring method can be used between the power supply output and the input of the supplied load. This reduces installation effort and costs. The high-efficiency switching power supplies in a robust plastic housing have an AC wide-range input of 85 to 264 VAC for worldwide use. The operating temperature range extends from -20°C to +70°C, with full rated power available from -10 to +55°C and cold start possible from -40°C. The brand-name electrolytic capacitors used with a particularly long service life of 10 years ensure many years of system availability. The SYNC series also impresses with galvanic insulation between input and output with up to 3000VAC isolation voltage. Another outstanding feature is the high noise immunity of 4 kV against transient voltages (IEC 61000-4-4) and overvoltages (IEC 61000-4-5) for demanding applications in harsh environments.
