AC/DC power supply for maritime applications (DNV GL / ABS)
The particularly slim and highly efficient DIN-Rail power supply series CliQ M from Delta with precisely regulated 24V output is convincing in worldwide use. To meet the requirements in maritime applications, the AC/DC DIN-Rail power supplies were developed in accordance with the most important industrial standards (IEC/EN/UL 62368-1) and maritime safety standards (Lloyd s Register, DNV GL, ABS). In the extended working temperature range of -25...+70°C, the CliQ M series delivers full power without derating from -25...+60°C to 5000m and is startable from -40°C. The high-quality protective lacquer coating on the circuit boards protects against dust, salt spray and chemical pollutants. In addition, the power supply includes an integrated DC-OK contact and an LED indicator for DC-OK / overload. Other features include compliance with IEC/EN 61000-3-2, Class A harmonic current, integrated DC-OK contacts and an LED indicator. In addition to a power boost of 150% for 7 seconds, the PSU has an Advanced Power Boost function (APB). When multiple loads are connected in a system, high output current may flow due to a fault load. APB detects this and trips the load disconnect switch. This prevents the entire system from shutting down and the other connected power paths continue to operate without interruption.
