The 13th generation Intel® Core™ processors have up to 24 cores and 32 threads. Their efficient multitasking supports multiple apps and workloads on a single platform while offering up to 1.04 times faster single-thread performance and up to 1.34 times faster multi-thread performance compared to the 12th generation.

The new DDR5 generation of memory modules offers 50% faster transfer rates, while the standard operating voltage is also reduced to 1.1V compared to 1.2V for DDR4. This helps to optimise the power management of the overall system. In addition, the DIMM power management IC (PMIC) on each module provides a more stable power supply and stronger signal transmission for improved energy efficiency.

The new industrial motherboards offer numerous support functions for peripheral devices. 13th generation Intel® Core™ processors support up to 16 PCIe 5.0 lanes, which offer twice the speed of PCIe 4.0, and up to four PCIe 4.0 lanes. PCIe 5.0 support also ensures a higher bandwidth connection to GPUs and SSDs for lower latency and optimised performance.
