The 24V DC UPS solution UPSI-2406IP-26UW ensures uninterrupted power supply for demanding industrial and mobile environments, powering measurement, control and regulation technology, IPC systems, drives, actuators, sensors, security systems, and more.
With its particularly wide input voltage range of 8…36VDC, the UPSI-2406IP-26UW provides reliable protection against both voltage fluctuations and power outages.
The emergency power supply is resistant to water jets, submersion, ice, oil and dust thanks to the sealed housing elements and connections in accordance with protection classes IP65/IP67. The high-quality aluminium housing accommodates the entire control and charging electronics of the DC UPS as well as the LiFePO4 battery pack.
Typical application areas include security and building technology, heavy industry, petrochemicals, tunnel and mining, energy and communications sectors, utility and special vehicles, food industry, chemicals, and agriculture.
The integrated LiFePO4 battery pack (Lithium Iron Phosphate) excels in safety-critical applications with particularly stable battery chemistry and high cycle life (Lifetime 10 years). The Battery Management System (BMS) with cell balancing ensures balanced and uniform charging of all cells, enabling the full capacity of the battery pack to be utilized permanently.

Software UPScom
The completely redesigned UPS management software is now available for free download.

The software 'UPScom' allows the connected devices to be shut down and switched off in a controlled manner during a power failure in order to avoid data loss or damage. The responsive WEB UI is called up in a web browser to set and pre-program all parameters of the DC UPS system and for real-time monitoring with state-of-charge indicator. The adjustable parameters include, among other things, load sensor (mA), shutdown delay, maximum backup time, minimum charge capacity before system start, notifications by email.

'UPScom' uses the new WebAssembly (WASM) architecture, which runs in most current web browsers. 'UPScom' runs on x86 compatible systems and also on most ARM-64 based systems under Microsoft® Windows and various Linux distributions.

In the event of a "power failure", the UPS signals the failure of the supply voltage via the integrated USB or RS232 interface, so that a controlled shutdown of the computer system is initiated and valuable data is saved. A script (batch) can also be executed before the system is shut down in order to process your own application-relevant processes. The integrated reboot function of the DC UPS automatically restarts the supplied IPC after the supply voltage returns, without the need for time-consuming on-site intervention by a service employee, e.g. in the case of completely self-sufficient computer systems at inaccessible locations.

'UPScom' can be used for various events such as loss of connection to the UPS, system shutdown or power failure. These preventative measures can reduce or eliminate downtime.

The high-quality connection cables of type "ÖLFLEX® SMART 108" for DC input and output (open-end) as well as the USB connection cable are already included in the delivery of the UPSI-2406IP-26UW.
