The space-saving DIN rail power supplies of the CHROME DRC series are designed for long-term use in small control cabinets in home automation and in the food and beverage industry. No earth connection is required for the double-insulated power supply units of protection class II.

The approval according to NEC Class 2 offers the advantage that due to the limited output power of max. 100VA there is neither the risk of an electric shock nor the risk of a fire starting. As a result, a simplified wiring method can be used between the output of the power supply and the input of the supplied load. This reduces costs and installation effort.
