Fanless industrial PC power supply with polymer capacitors
The BEP-520C industrial PC power supply with wide-range DC input was developed for fanless 24/7 continuous operation under particularly extreme operating conditions, especially for closed and fanless rugged industrial computers, which must work reliably in harsh environments, under extreme temperatures and high vibration and shock loads.
The robust and reliable IPC power supply unit "Made in Germany" works in the extended temperature range from -20 to +70 ° C and delivers 200 Watt continuous power without active cooling. In addition to long-term availability of at least 5 years, Bicker Elektronik grants a 3-year guarantee on the BEP-520C.
The typical fields of application of the BEP-520C include process automation, heavy industry, the energy sector (oil, gas, mining), offshore applications and the areas of transportation, logistics, pharmaceuticals and the food industry
Powerful IPC power supply with wide-range DC input
On the input side, the BEP-520C has a wide-range input 16…32VDC. The regulated ATX outputs +3,3V, +5V, +12V, -12V, +5Vsb do not require a base load and are therefore ideally suited for the reliable power supply of the latest generation of mainboards. The + 5Vsb output can be loaded with up to 3A. The practical cable management system also enables flexible use of customer-specific cable harnesses. A DC cable set is included with the BEP-520C.
Galvanic insulation and protective functions
In terms of safety, the BEP-520C corresponds to EN/UL60950-1 and has numerous protective functions such as short-circuit protection on all outputs as well as overload, overvoltage and overtemperature protection as standard. The inputs and outputs are galvanically insulated (insulation voltage Input/Output 3000 VAC).
Highly efficient and fanless DC ATX power supply
The fanless 24/7 continuous operation of the BEP-520C is enabled by the high energy efficiency > 90% typ over the entire load range, as well as the optimal heat dissipation through the thermal housing connection of the power modules on the underside of the circuit board. The standby consumption is less than 0.3 Watt (ErP lot 6 2013 ready).
This enables the BEP-520 to be used in closed and fanless industrial PC applications with contact cooling for demanding environmental and application conditions.

The flat and compact design as well as the through-hole plating of the FR4 industrial circuit board ensures long-lasting and stable soldered connections even under the influence of shock and vibration.
