The newly designed DC UPS UPSI-2402 protects connected consumer loads from supply voltage fluctuations and interruptions. The μC controlled DC UPS provides various protections. Among the most important is the continuous battery monitoring feature. This ensures that sufficient capacitance remains in the battery to guarantee the supply of consumer loads in case of power failure. New features of the UPSI-2401 are a load sensor and a timer function. The timer function was integrated and allows a timer-controlled switch-off of the UPS.

Reboot function	If power fails and then returns during the shutdown mode of Windows®, the operating system will ‚lock‘ with the message „Your PC is now safe“. The reboot function restarts the system after about 5 seconds.
